Chimera Ace
Chimera Ace was created for a month-long game jam. Our team created an FPS deck-building roguelike where the player will have to battle waves of enemies while managing their gun cards.

What is Chimera Ace?
Chimera Ace is a proof of concept created by our team where we tried to combine FPS and deckbuilding into one game. The premise of the game is for each gun to be a specific card, which the player will have to swap through while they play. Instead of the player reloading their gun, they would choose a new card which will then replace their gun. Each card will have its own bullet modifiers such as bouncing, piercing, and life=steal bullets.
Transforming Guns
When I first initially designed the guns, they had to transform from one another. I wanted to have the gun transform in stages like Transformers but in gun form. Unfortunately for the game jam, I was not able to figure this part out and the guns ended up transforming in one stage. I am currently still revising the guns to have a better appeal.

Reflection
During the process of this game, we realized that with this proof of concept, there is a lot of potential for this game. Our team is currently working on revising the concept and planning to fully flush this game out and hopefully publish it. Stay tuned for more updates on this page!
